April 26, 2005 - Cooper Park, Cooperstown, NY.  Tuyaymya Osuna, student from San Diego, CA, Hall of Fame baseball player Ozzie Smith and Eric Miklich, 19c Base Ball, NY Mutuals and Old Bethpage Village Restoration, shown during a brief time out while filming “Discovering Our American Sprit,” sponsored by Ball State University and the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Both live programs of this Electronic Field Trip were seen by an estimated 17 million grade school students in North America.  Miklich explained and demonstrated the history of the pitcher including the evolution of pitching deliveries from 1860–1887 during both of his eight minute segments.
